In order to support the excellent work of the NSPCC, today at Linchfield, the children and staff took part in a ‘Dress up for Digits Day’, creating and wearing some fabulous outfits, all with a Number Theme. In addition (a number themed word there), the children’s usual Maths lessons were replaced by a number of fun-filled maths activities and games which all helped the children to apply their maths knowledge in a real-life practical context. A big thank you to all the children for taking part in this special day, to you the parents who helped prepare the many amazing outfits the children wore and for your generous donations to this worthy cause; and to the staff who planned and supported the children to have fun whilst learning. Collectively we raised a fantastic £203.95. We look forward to Number Day 2024…….
