Linchfield Primary School's Year 4 pupils have enjoyed a fantastic Mini Olympics event organised by Inspire+ Young Ambassadors.
The event was held at Grantham Meres Stadium. Many schools from across the county took part, each representing a different country.
The day had a wonderful, entertaining opening ceremony which included a parade from all the schools as well as some sporting celebrities.
The children then had chance to participate in a wide range of athletics and sporting activities. The closing ceremony included all the schools taking part in a spectacular mass dance led by dancers from the Royal Opera House.
Well done to all of Year 4 and our Sport's Ambassadors; they represented Linchfield School really well- we were very proud of them. Thank you too to our wonderful parent helpers too.
